PARÍS (AP) — Mason Greenwood anotó su 15º gol de la temporada, el máximo de la liga, y el Marsella aguantó para lograr una necesaria victoria 1-0 en Toulouse el sábado, con la que ascendió al tercer puesto de la Ligue 1.
El delantero inglés remató un centro del extremo brasileño Igor Paixão en el minuto 17 para colocarse con un gol más que el delantero del Estrasburgo Joaquín Panichelli en la tabla de goleadores.
Fue la primera vez que el Marsella mantuvo su arco en cero en la liga desde mediados de diciembre.
El Marsella perdió ante el Toulouse en los cuartos de final de la Copa de Francia esta semana y, de manera realista, solo le queda como objetivo la clasificación a la Liga de Campeones.

President Trump grieves with families during return of soldiers killed in war in the Middle East
DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del. — President Donald Trump on Saturday joined grieving families at Dover Air Force Base at the dignified transfer for the six U.S. soldiers killed in the war in the Middle East.
The dignified transfer, a ritual that returns the remains of U.S. service members killed in action, is considered one of the most somber duties of any commander in chief. During his first term, Trump said bearing witness to the transfer was “the toughest thing I have to do” as president.
“It’s a very sad day,” Trump told reporters on Air Force One as he returned to Florida later Saturday afternoon, saying that he was “glad we paid our respects.” He said the relatives of the deceased are “great people, great parents, wives, family” and said that the “parents were so proud.”
Both Trump and Vice President JD Vance were present for the transfer, as were their spouses. A host of top administration officials were in attendance, including Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, who wrote in a social media post Friday of “an unbreakable spirit to honor their memory and the resolve they embodied”; Attorney General Pam Bondi, White House chief of staff Susie Wiles, special envoy Steve Witkoff and Tulsi Gabbard, the director of national intelligence.
Also present for the solemn event were governors and senators from Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska and Florida.
Those killed in action were Maj. Jeffrey O’Brien, 45, of Indianola, Iowa; Capt. Cody Khork, 35, of Winter Haven, Florida; Chief Warrant Officer 3 Robert Marzan, 54, of Sacramento, California; Sgt. 1st Class Nicole Amor, 39, of White Bear Lake, Minnesota; Sgt. 1st Class Noah Tietjens, 42, of Bellevue, Nebraska; and Sgt. Declan Coady, 20, of West Des Moines, lowa, who was posthumously promoted from specialist.
As is protocol, Trump — wearing a blue suit, red tie and a white USA hat — did not speak during the transfer. The president saluted as each flag-draped transfer case was carried from the military aircraft to awaiting transfer vehicles, which would take them to a mortuary facility to prepare them for their final resting place. The families were largely silent as they observed the ritual, which lasted about a half hour.
The six members of the Army Reserve, who were killed by a drone strike at a command center in Kuwait, were all from the 103rd Sustainment Command based in Des Moines, Iowa, which provides food, fuel, water and ammunition, transport equipment and supplies. They died just one day after the U.S. and Israel launched its military campaign against Iran.
“These soldiers engaged in the most noble mission: protecting their fellow Americans and keeping our homeland secure,” Republican Sen. Joni Ernst of Iowa, a combat veteran, said earlier this week after the six were identified. “Our nation owes them an incredible debt of gratitude that can never be repaid.”
During the ritual, transfer cases draped with the American flag and holding the remains of the fallen soldiers are carried from the military aircraft that transported them to an awaiting vehicle to take them to the mortuary facility at the base. There, the service members are prepared for their final resting place.
Amor’s husband, Joey Amor, said earlier this week that she had been scheduled to return home to him and their two children within days.
“You don’t go to Kuwait thinking something’s going to happen, and for her to be one of the first – it hurts,” Joey Amor said.
O’Brien had served in the Army Reserve for nearly 15 years, according to his LinkedIn account, and his aunt said in a post on Facebook that O’Brien “was the sweetest blue-eyed, blonde farm kid you’d ever know. He is so missed already.”
Marzan’s sister described him in a Facebook post as a “strong leader” and loving husband, father and brother.
“My baby brother, you are loved and I will hold onto all our memories and cherish them always in my heart,” Elizabeth Marzan wrote.
Coady was among the youngest people in his class, trained to troubleshoot military computer systems, but he impressed his instructors, his father, Andrew Coady, told The Associated Press.
“He trained hard, he worked hard, his physical fitness was important to him. He loved being a soldier,” Coady said. “He was also one of the most kindest people you would ever meet, and he would do anything and everything for anyone.”
Khork’s family described him as “the life of the party” who was known for his “infectious spirit” and “generous heart” and who had wanted to serve in the military since childhood.
“That commitment helped shape the course of his life and reflected the deep sense of duty that was always at the core of who he was,” according to a statement from his mother, Donna Burhans, his father, James Khork, and his stepmother, Stacey Khork.
Tietjens, who came from a military family, previously served alongside his father in Kuwait. When he returned home in February 2010, he reunited with his overjoyed wife in a local church’s gym.
Tietjens’ cousin Kaylyn Golike asked for prayers, especially for Tietjens’ 12-year-old son, wife and parents, as they navigate “unimaginable loss.”
Trump most recently traveled to Dover in December to honor two Iowa National Guard members and a U.S. civilian interpreter who were killed in an ambush attack in the Syrian desert. He attended dignified transfers several times during his first term, including for a Navy SEAL killed during a raid in Yemen, for two Army officers whose helicopter crashed in Afghanistan and for two Army soldiers killed in Afghanistan when a person dressed in an Afghan army uniform opened fire.

The report noted that the negotiations remain at an early stage and may not result in deals or secure the targeted valuation.
Kalshi currently operates in the United States and offers markets allowing users to wager on outcomes tied to sports, politics, the economy and cultural events. The company was last valued at about $11 billion in December when it raised $1 billion from investors including Paradigm and Sequoia Capital.
Founded in 2018 by Tarek Mansour and Luana Lopes Lara, Kalshi received approval from the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission in 2020 to operate as a regulated exchange for event-based markets. Polymarket plans US launch later this year

Troy Murray, Chicago Blackhawks great and longtime team broadcaster, dies at 63
Troy Murray, one of the best two-way centers in Chicago Blackhawks history who went on to a long and decorated broadcasting career with the team, died Saturday morning at age 63, the team announced.
Nicknamed “Muzz,” Murray revealed in August 2021 he had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy treatments. He did not specify the type of cancer he had. Murray continued working on Hawks broadcasts, though at a diminished workload, before stepping away entirely this season.
Hawks Chairman and CEO Danny Wirtz said the organization was “deeply heartbroken.”
“Troy was the epitome of a Blackhawk so far beyond his incredible playing career, with his presence felt in every corner of our organization over the last 45 years,” Wirtz said in a statement. “During his long and hard battle with cancer, it was often said that Troy didn’t have any ‘give up’ in him. While our front office simply won’t be the same without him, we will carry that spirit forward every day in his honor. We’ll miss you, Troy.”

The Hawks drafted Murray in the third round (No. 57) of the 1980 NHL draft after an illustrious college career at the University of North Dakota. The center broke in with the Hawks by playing one game as a 19-year-old during the 1981-82 season.
Known as one of the Hawks’ most respected leaders, he played 12 of his 15 NHL seasons in Chicago. Murray topped 20 goals in five consecutive seasons (1984-85 to 1988-89), including a career-best 45 goals and 99 points in 1985-86, when he won the Selke Trophy as the league’s best defensive forward, the first player in franchise history to earn the award.
“Troy really was a five-tool player,” Ed Olczyk, Murray’s teammate on the Hawks for three seasons, said Saturday on the “Steve Rosenbloom Show” on WSCR-AM. “He could skate, he could score, he could hit, he was outstanding defensively and he was sneaky tough when it came to hockey. He was just a great Chicago Blackhawk both on and off the ice.”
Murray, who was born in Calgary, Alberta, and grew up in St. Albert, Alberta, compiled 488 points (197 goals, 291 assists) in 688 games in two stints with the Hawks. He finished his career with 584 points (230 goals, 354 assists) in 915 games, also playing for the Winnipeg Jets, Ottawa Senators, Pittsburgh Penguins and Colorado Avalanche. He won the 1996 Stanley Cup with the Avs in his final season.
After spending the following season with the Chicago Wolves, Murray stayed in the city to begin his broadcasting career in 1998, serving mainly as the Hawks radio analyst alongside partner John Wiedeman for 27 years. The duo earned honors as the best sports play-by-play team from the Illinois Broadcasters Association.
One of Murray’s prominent calls was the team’s Game 6 Stanley Cup win over the Philadelphia Flyers in June 2010, when he was one of the few people who realized Patrick Kane’s game-winning goal in overtime went into the net, ending the Hawks’ 47-year championship drought.
“Heartbreaking to hear the news today on the passing of @muzz19,” Kane posted on X. “Always had so much respect for Troy as a former @NHLBlackhawks and even better person. RIP my friend.”
Building upon the connections he made in the Hawks locker room, Murray became the president of the Hawks alumni association, providing for the Chicago community while helping other players in post-career endeavors.

“His willingness to welcome people and put people at ease, with the career that he had as a player and as a broadcaster, he could have easily been ‘standoffish’, (but) he wasn’t that guy at all,” Hall of Fame Hawks broadcaster Pat Foley said. “He appreciated what he had done (and) couldn’t wait to make somebody’s day better. That’s who he was, which is why people were drawn to him and why it’s such a tough loss.”
Murray will be remembered for his love and respect for everyone around him, including current Hawks. Coach Jeff Blashill said after practice Saturday that Murray made a “huge impact on the Blackhawks organization.”
“He was someone that was always trying to do stuff for other people, helping new people, he means so much to the (organization),” Hawks center Connor Bedard said at Blackhawks Ice Center.
Added defenseman Alex Vlasic: “He was such a good guy to all the young guys in here. I feel like he made everyone feel welcome and meant so much to this organization, to the fans, (and to) so many generations that he impacted. Absolutely devastated to hear the news.”
At North Dakota, Murray earned WCHA rookie of the year honors as a freshman in 1981, and the following year helped the school win its fourth NCAA championship. In 1982, he also was captain of Canada’s world junior championships gold-medal-winning team.
Funeral arrangements have not been announced.

Oak Forest’s Fleadh Day draws crowds, despite a little rain
Despite a few sprinkles and overcast skies, thousands of area residents turned out for the 17th annual Fleadh Day Saturday in Oak Forest.
The Irish celebration kicked off with a 5K, then a parade and ending with an afternoon family fun festival at the Oak Forest Park District on Central Avenue.
This was the second year for the festival, and just as the parade wound down on the street out front, children and their families walked in from the drizzle for popcorn, snacks, drawing, games and just a lot of running around on play mats.
Director Kirstin Dahm said she’s happy for the visitors.
“We try hard to make sure there’s a little bit something for everybody,” she said. “This is a great event and we have a lot of people come because the parade ends in front of the Park District.”
Dahm said the Park District has always participated in the parade and she’s been involved since the first event. She’s seen the celebration grow into one of the best-loved community events of the year.
“It is it’s a huge community thing,” she said. “It’s one of the biggest things we do in Oak Forest and we really get to showcase what Oak Forest has to offer.”
And for some visitors, it was a first time.

Ashley Fahrenwald brought her baby, Theodore. It was a first for both of them. She said the warm weather brought them out with her mother and her nephew.
Fahrenwald said she’d never been to a Fleadh Day as she usually works Saturday, and she was glad to get out of the house.
“It’s great for the kids,” she said.
“It’s not a drunk festival, it’s a family affair,” explained her mother, Deborah Stamos.
In fact, Fleadh is the Gaelic translation for “festival.”

Despite the drizzle, Dahm pointed out the weather was OK for March. In her 17 years working the event, she’s seen a lot worse.
“Every year it’s something a little different,” she said. “We’ve had years where there’s snow on the ground and we’ve had years where it’s raining this year its misty. … When you have days like this it really puts it in perspective that we’re fortunate.”
Kay Reusnow was in for the Fun Fest with her granddaughter, Alice, and for them, by 1 p.m., it was a full day. The pair participated in the 5K at 8:30 a.m., watched the parade and then, as it started to rain, dropped into the Fun Fest where Alice spent another hour eating popcorn and running around.
“I’ve lived in Oak Forest for 30 years and this is the first time I’ve come out to this,” said Reusnow.
She said generally she works Saturdays, but she had a good time Saturday. She’s a runner and this was her first 5K this year and she reported she came in fifth in her age group — not so bad, considering she was running with a 5-year-old.
St. Damian School, an Oak Forest institution for more than 60 years, was the grand marshal for the family parade. School families led about 50 parade units, including a pipe and drum band, civic and community groups, schools, churches and businesses along Central Avenue.

GLP-1 Feud Ends: NOVO, HIMS Join Forces (Again) To Sell Obesity Drugs
The epic, months-long GLP-1 feud between Novo Nordisk and telehealth firm Hims & Hers Health appears to be coming to a surprising end, with both companies reportedly set to announce, as soon as Monday, a new partnership that would allow the Danish drugmaker to sell Wegovy through HIMS’ platform.

Novo and Hims plan to announce a new partnership as soon as Monday, according to the person, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. The two companies had a similar agreement last year, but Novo abruptly scrapped it after Hims refused to stop marketing and selling copycat medications.
The move is very surprising because NOVO sued HIMS just last month over a copycat Wegovy pill and patent infringement tied to Ozempic and Wegovy. Even the head of the FDA recently stated that telehealth firms were put on notice about copycat GLP-1s.
“There is no other way to describe the Hims news as both a surprise and an unabashed positive for Hims’ stock,” Leerink Partners analyst Michael Cherny wrote in a note to clients.
NOVO ADRs rose 2% in after-hours trading on Friday following the report, while HIMS shares surged nearly 40%. The new partnership would effectively end the GLP-1 feud between the two companies.
“We get the rationale for Novo here,” Cherny added. “The company has been looking to add as many partners as it can to drive market reach, including other digital pharmacies and CVS.”
The rationale for why the feud ended will likely be explained by NOVO executives and/or HIMS executives on Monday morning, if the Bloomberg report is correct. It’s clear that the feud’s end was likely tied to the terrible year-to-date performance of both companies (data below as of close on Friday).
NOVO’s willingness to partner with HIMS (again) comes as its new GLP-1 pill has yet to help it gain the momentum to acquire enough new market share to reverse the stock plunge amid a highly competitive obesity space. Additionally, the new CEO is under pressure from investors to reverse the multi-year stock plunge and to offer hope amid a recently dismal outlook for the year.

Ford recalls 1.74 million of its cars over rearview display issues
NEW YORK — Ford has issued two recalls affecting nearly 1.74 million of its cars in the U.S., due to software issues that impact the vehicles’ rearview camera displays.
According to notices published by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration this week, an internal component inside the infotainment system of certain 2021-2026 Ford Broncos and 2021-2024 Ford Edges may overheat and shut down — preventing the rearview image from displaying when drivers are going in reverse. Meanwhile, some 2020-2022 Ford Escapes and Lincoln Corsairs, as well as 2020-2024 Lincoln Aviators and Explorers, may show a flipped or inverted rearview image.
The recalls cover 849,310 Broncos and Edges as well as 889,950 Escapes, Corsairs, Aviators and Explorers. Ford estimates that all of these vehicles have the defects. But the company is not aware of any injuries or accidents spanning from either recall, NHTSA documents show.
Still, the NHTSA is warning drivers that both issues could increase crash risks.
For impacted Bronco and Edge owners, Ford is offering a free software update for the vehicles’ Accessory Protocol Interface Module (APIM). Owner-notification letters will be mailed out at the end of the month, with the fix available either at a dealer or through an “over-the-air” update.
But a remedy is still under development for the recall impacting the Escapes, Corsairs, Aviators and Explorers, this week’s recall announcement noted. In the meantime, interim letters to notify owners of the safety risks are set to be mailed out in the coming months.
The Associated Press reached out to Michigan-based Ford for further comments on Saturday.

Líderes religiosos piden acceso a centros de detención del ICE durante Cuaresma y Ramadán

La práctica, arraigada desde hace tiempo, de que líderes religiosos brinden acompañamiento espiritual a migrantes detenidos se ha vuelto mucho más polémica —y trascendental— a medida que las cifras de detención se disparan en todo Estados Unidos durante la ofensiva migratoria del gobierno federal.
Integrantes del clero presionan para lograr mayor acceso a los centros de detención, especialmente durante las actuales temporadas sagradas de Cuaresma y Ramadán. Tras celebrar una ceremonia del Miércoles de Ceniza con cuatro migrantes que acababan de llegar a un centro de detención cerca de Chicago, el clero de la localidad trabaja con las autoridades migratorias para establecer visitas regulares.

Clérigos demandan por el acceso a los centros de detención
Las dos demandas se centran en el acceso a edificios federales en las afueras de Chicago y Minneapolis, donde el clero afirmó que los detenidos fueron retenidos durante varios días durante los respectivos aumentos de operativos el otoño pasado y a inicios de este invierno.

Cuando un juez ordenó al ICE que permitiera la visita del Miércoles de Ceniza, los líderes religiosos se muestran “cautelosamente optimistas” de que podrían acordar un calendario regular para visitar, ofrecer oraciones y llevar artículos como rosarios y Biblias, explicó Inczauskis.
Ese acceso también podría beneficiar a los agentes federales —tres de ellos pidieron recibir ceniza junto a los migrantes—, agregó.
En Minneapolis, al reverendo Chris Collins, también sacerdote jesuita, se le negó la entrada a un edificio federal donde se registraban protestas estruendosas a diario durante el incremento de operativos. Junto con las ramas en Minnesota de la Iglesia Evangélica Luterana de Estados Unidos y la Iglesia Unida de Cristo, Collins demandó al gobierno en febrero por haberle negado “categóricamente” la oportunidad de brindar atención pastoral.
Líderes religiosos dicen que el acceso es inconstante
Durante mucho tiempo, clérigos y voluntarios de distintas religiones han brindado acompañamiento espiritual a detenidos por temas de inmigración.
Desde hace unos 15 años, la rama estadounidense del Servicio Jesuita a Refugiados tiene un contrato con el Departamento de Seguridad Nacional para proporcionar capellanes internos en media docena de centros, desde cerca de la frontera canadiense en Nueva York hasta la bahía de Guantánamo, en Cuba, indicó la portavoz de la organización sin fines de lucro, Bridget Cusick.
Muchos de los clérigos y voluntarios involucrados dicen que les preocupa el acceso inconstante. Aun así, planean continuar con su ministerio porque lo consideran vital para preservar el derecho a la práctica religiosa y recordarles a los migrantes su humanidad.
“Soy el único contacto externo que tienen”, afirmó Simran Singh, quien comenzó a visitar a detenidos indios en la instalación Mesa Verde del ICE en Bakersfield, California, hace una década. “La mayoría de sus familiares no están en Estados Unidos… así que soy el único que sabe que existen, que son más que un número”.
El voluntario sij añadió que, en sus visitas semanales, a los detenidos les encanta la comida del gurdwara que él lleva; para algunos, es la única comida vegetariana adecuada que han recibido mientras están bajo custodia.
Otros agradecen que entregue los turbantes que usan los hombres observantes, los cuales a menudo les quitan al ser detenidos.
“Eso es parte de tu identidad. Así que no solo te despojan de tu nombre, sino que también te despojan de quién eres”, afirmó.
De manera similar, Mahmoud, la capellana musulmana en Texas, dijo que le gustaría proporcionar paños de oración, especialmente durante el Ramadán, pero hasta ahora no se lo han permitido.
Obispos católicos exigen más acceso
En una carta enviada al Congreso la semana pasada, la Conferencia de Obispos Católicos de Estados Unidos instó a un “acceso consistente a servicios religiosos y pastorales para todos los detenidos por inmigración”, y pidió “directrices claras y procesos uniformes”.
Los obispos ya habían expresado su preocupación por la falta de atención pastoral en una declaración de otoño respaldada firmemente por el papa León XIV.
Durante cuatro décadas, el arzobispo católico de Miami, Thomas Wenski, ha visitado a migrantes en el Centro de Detención Krome, al borde de los Everglades, donde se celebra una misa semanal.
También ha celebrado misa en el Alcatraz de los Caimanes de Florida, un centro aún más remoto y controvertido. En su homilía pronunciada allí la Navidad pasada, les dijo a las decenas de hombres, en su mayoría latinos y latinoamericanos, que su presencia era prueba de que no habían sido olvidados.
“Hay personas afuera que rezan por ustedes”, recordó Wenski, refiriéndose a su prédica. “Dios no los ha abandonado”.
En el mayor centro de detención, en El Paso, se celebra regularmente una misa dominical y los sacerdotes también visitan para confesiones. Pero el acceso es “muy limitado” debido a que la administración del centro señala que hay escasez de personal y de espacio, indicó el obispo Mark Seitz.
En el sur de California, el reverendo Brian Nunes, obispo auxiliar de Los Ángeles, celebró recientemente dos misas en los grandes centros de detención de Adelanto y California City, donde muchos internos enfrentan la separación de sus familias y sus comunidades.
Él también espera ampliar la atención.
“También existe, en un nivel muy importante, este sentido de que… aun cuando es difícil atenderlos, fueron atendidos”, manifestó.
