A Chicago police officer is facing more than a dozen felony charges for allegedly accepting bribes in exchange for allowing a civilian to use his encrypted CPD radio.
Alain Dillon, 37, was charged by the Illinois attorney general’s office with three counts of bribery and 15 counts of official misconduct, according to a statement from Attorney General Kwame Raoul’s office.

Illinois Racing Board suspends harness racing license at Hawthorne Race Course due to financial troubles
The board cited Suburban Downs, which operates harness racing at Hawthorne, for “failure to provide documentation demonstrating its financial integrity,” and proof that it can meet the minimum standards of the state Horse Racing Act. Read more here.
