Two critically injured teenage boys were arrested after crashing a stolen vehicle into a viaduct overnight in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Officers on patrol shortly after 1:15 a.m. saw a silver sedan crash into a viaduct in the 3500 block of West Marquette Road, police said. Police determined the vehicle had been reported stolen.
Both teens were placed into police custody and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where they were listed in critical condition.
The Major Accidents Investigation Unit was investigating, and charges were pending.
